Rumiko Otsuka

Rumiko Otsuka is a certified Gyrokinesis® Level 1 instructor, professional dancer, and choreographer originally from Tokyo, now based in Malmö. With over 20 years of international experience in contemporary dance and a deep foundation in classical ballet, she brings a refined understanding of movement, breath, and body awareness to her Gyrokinesis® practice.

She began exploring Gyrokinesis® in 2014 and completed her Level 1 certification in June 2024. Her classes offer a gentle yet powerful approach to mobility, strength, and inner balance—drawing on her artistic sensibility. Rumiko’s teaching invites participants to reconnect with their bodies through flowing sequences and mindful breath, creating space for both healing and embodied awareness.
